There's another new kid in the block, Noodle and Dumpling on Wp. They've been opened for about two weeks now and since all new places need to be tasted we made our way over for lunch.
Unfortunately the selection of dumplings seemed very limited so we decided to skip the dumplings to go onto the noodles instead. The process of ordering was very food court style and same went for the quality of the food. They seem to be charging restaurant prices for small and almost tasteless goods. Honestly I couldn't see myself revisiting Noodle & Dumpling on Wp anytime soon but for those who haven't tried it for themselves don't feel discouraged from my personal experience.
Shallot Pancakes - $6.00 (4pcs)
First to arrive on our table was the onion pancakes which to our absolute shock were actual westerners pancakes (thick and extremely dense, they could have at least made them fluffy) not like the traditional Chinese pancakes. These onion pancakes were lacking in flavours and everything in between. Disappointment at its best!
Chicken laksa - $12.80After an incredible shocker of a start this dish was probably a hundred times better in taste and quality. The broth was filled with creaminess from the coconut milk and the flavour of chicken stock. I couldn't fault this laksa it was a good thumbs up
