Recently new to the block of Cabramatta is Bambu dessert & drinks. I remember the talk of Bambu being a Yumcha Express but I guess last minute they had a change of heart and opened a dessert spot instead. None the less a new spot is always good and hopefully it sticks around.
First thing that was nice to see was the brightly lit and trendy interior layout. Its almost like a diabetic wonderland with DIY waffles which you are able to custom design according to your desire. They had a vast array of toppings available and the choices seemed endless.
Gaytime Frappe - $5.60
We didn't customise any waffles and at first I wanted to order the Watermelon shake which I saw before was the halved watermelon shell was scooped out and juiced and placed back into the shell as a reused juice bowl. I thought it was awesome, clever and super Eco friendly but unfortunately the didn't have any watermelon shells available.
After all that jibber jabber I went with the Gaytime Frappe which was also topped with a Gaytime ice cream filled cone. The Frappe was thick and tasted of caramel Gaytime. The Cone was the most exciting part of the Frappe. One thing was I guess was for pure decoration purposes only was the chocolate coated rim of the Mason jar. The chocolate was hard to lick or bite or the rim as well as to try and break with a spoon. Overall the Gaytime is a must try at Bambu.
