HOT-STAR CABRAMATTA

Well Hello Hot Star! I've been waiting for you for quite some time! The last time we were in the city we missed out on the famous larger then life size fried chicken and we've unfortunately haven't had the time to patiently wait in the massive line ups. Thankfully one opened up this week in Cabramatta and tonight we finally had our chance. We came around 8:30pm and although there was a line, at least its not all the way down John St.

At first I didn't realise why the people waiting were holding empty plastic bags and it turns out that after your number has been called they efficiently place your order into your bag. I could easily see this running smoothly in peak hours. 

Even though Hot-Star have become incredibly famous for their Large fried Chicken they actually do have other items on their men. But hey, if you've waited for a while in line then I'm almost too sure your here for one thing and that your larger then your face size chicken schnitzel and trust me you won't be disappointed!

The four peoples production team worked effortlessly in taking orders, battering of the chicken, cooking, seasoning and handing out orders. It felt like we where there in under five minutes with the large groups of people in front of us.

Large Fried Chicken "Original" - $7.50

If you think the size is impressive wait until you have the chance to actually try it for yourself! Yes you'll fall madly inlove. The crunchy Taiwanese style schnitzel is just full of deep fried goodness! It's super juicy inside with the chicken, tender, which you eat with pure excitement. The mild seasoning I chose gave the chicken an extra kick and I was wondering why they didn't season both sides, well now I know! If they did it both sides it would be to overwhelming on the saltiness and the heat of the chili. For only $7.50 and literally the size of your face its one of the best and cheapest street food.
