K H I S M O S A: KNAFEH - MOBILE FOOD TRUCK

The movement of the traveling bearded bakers arrived at 1009 Canley Vale Rd, Wetherill Park for the week. Yesterday we made sure to pay our visit before we missed it in our neighborhood. I know I've already blogged about the Knafeh Bakery before but what the hell, I'm bothered so might as well!

These bearded bakers have been making massive waves on their instagram (knafehbakery) and since they know how to deliver something good weather its rain, hail or shine, we'll be there to eat and blog.

Last weeks location was in Greenway, Wetherill Park housed next to Grano. This location was crazy and personally for me it was probably one of the best space they've parked so far. Several fire pits were set up along their open venue for those who came to join the party (awesome 90's old school jams played over the speaks). Thankfully Andy arrived fairly early and saved us a table at the front This was a first in first served kinda situation.

Since our last visit the Knafeh's have gone up in price (a dollar more) and have added the addition of beverages. Thankfully we arrived early at 6pm and were still able to find parking and the advantage of a short line and an even shorter food wait.

We ordered 3 Knafehs plus the Moroccan tea and Lemonada. The beverages came as self serve with massive kegs. At first we thought it was unlimited refills but unfortunately there were signs stating "No refills", which was still good considering the plastic cup provided was reasonably large and I guess they've gone with the honesty policy.

The lemonada tasted homemade with the traces of fresh lemons with the added benefits of soda water for the fizz. I would have to give this a good two thumbs up. The other was the Moroccan hot tea which went very well with the Knafeh.

This was hilarious! While we were ordering a massive group of Asian girls stood behind us in line and one of the beaded bakers decided to hashtag us as the #asiangang and this was announced loudly over the speakers. Thank you for the hashtag.
